2 New Dances and a 3 Track CD

Lately, Apple Crisp has been performing at Fanueil Hall a lot. Although this has been a blast for us and our audience, the one bad thing about this is that we have not had time to work on a CD. Before today, we have been giving out a two track CD, last recorded from months ago. Recently, in one of our few recording sessions, my dad came across a great surprise: a lost recording that was worthy of being added to the two track CD. "Three tracks sounds like a lot more than two tracks," I thought when I had listened to and approved the track. Now, even though the CD isn't big enough to call more than a demo, I look forward to searching on the computer and finding more of the recordings that we never took the time to listen to.

the new recording is Katy's Rambles & Lady of the Lake

Also, to add to the good news, we were booked for two more gigs. The Medway dance had previously requested that we come play there, but since my dad works Saturday nights, we could not previously accept any of their dates. Finally, after looking at the calendar, Dad found two times where he could come and play, giving Apple Crisp the gig. We will be playing January 7, and April 1st. Thanks to Rob Rudin, who put us in touch with the Medway dance.

We have also been booked for 2 dances at MIT this fall, September 13 and Oct 11.

We're going out to Fanueil Hall today, and we will enjoy giving away our 3 track CD's and practicing for our new dances.

  • Wow! That's a great recording! I'm so glad you found it. It made me want to get up and dance.
